I'm still here, still trying to catch up with the backlog of pieces that I want to comment on. Every time I feel like I'm actually going to get a chance to catch up on dA or better yet do some artwork myself, something else demands my attention. I think the only way I'm actually going to find a chance to do some creative stuff is if I just tell everyone around me to leave me the hell alone for a while so that I can work.

On a slightly more positive note, I am branching out artistically. I've started doing the layout sketches for a few paintings I want to work on. I haven't done any painting since I was in high school, but I want to try it again, and I think that I will be able to make a better job of it now because I want to be doing it rather than having it as an assignment.
